Models paraded down the runway wearing comfortably sassy designs that are functional and fashionable for day & night.
Travis Taddeo is your go-to designer for that fresh “mondo new” look. You can never go wrong with Travis Taddeo, this Montreal designer is known for his crisp aesthetic. For Spring-summer 2012, Travis offers middle eastern inspired ponchos, sheer tops, hot leather garments and funky fashions in the likes of feathers, it’s all about clean edge.
Montreal designer, Ralph Leroy took the audience into fashion storyland, enticing the crowd with the burning ascension of his latest collection - FIRE. Ralph Leroy’s collection was about the coming of age through combat, conquering the flames and at last arriving to the climax of fashion – the evergreen forest. Every garment echoed the plot of this theatrical experience. The victorious finale symbolized the release of the Queen and lastly the courtship awaits the procession of the king – Ralph Leroy. This was the most captivating show at OFW live SS ‘12!
Robotic grunge – Alexis Reyna’s collection depicted manufactured zombies of fashion. Through his designs, Alexis demonstrates the fast forward evolution of cloth.
Bleached garments and tribal references created an anaphylactic reaction that definitely caught the attention of the crowd.
